Water decal and top coat fail

Hello!

Again the water decal :) I really love this, it's fast, easy and looks professional and perfect. But today I tried some other decals which are a little cheaper and I guess they are of lesser quality. As you can see in the picture the top coat smudged the image on my index finger. I suggest you really put a very generous amount of top coat on these! But I also had difficulties when applying these decals, because they would wrinkle or tare easily. Anyway I still took a picture and I hope you still like it :) and if you try some, be careful and don't hold back on top coat ;) Oh, and the polish on my nails is China Glaze - Rich & Famous.

A beautiful day - something different

Hello everyone!

Today was such a warm, sunny, beautiful day, that I just had to go enjoy it outside. Unfortunately I'm too tired to do any nails or makeup, but I will post some pics I took.

Sweet rose

Hey!

I did the water decal, as I promised. It's such a beautiful, springy look, I'm constantly looking at my nails ;) the polish is yesterday's China Glaze - Something Sweet and water decals are from Ebay.

The closeup pic didn't turn out the best, because the camera wouldn't focus or there were shadows or too much flash reflection. But I'm still posting it, so you can see the details.

China Glaze - Something Sweet

I painted my nails with China Glaze - Something Sweet. This is such a sweet (!), very light pink color. I love it! ;) Tomorrow I'll do some rose water decals, because I think it will look gorgeous on this polish. I hope you like it!

Flower stamping

Hi!

Here is some stamping again. It didn't turn out as I wanted, but it's pretty OK. Polish on nails is yesterday's Essie - Lovie Dovie, I used Pueen stamping plate no. 72 and China Glaze - Adore for stamping. I hope you like it. I think I'll stick to Konads polishes, because these metallic ones are too runny and they smudge a lot. But it's also my fault, because of my back pain I'm doing everything in bed on a little portable table. It's hard to be accurate and perfect in such working conditions.

I hope you like it. I chose this plates again just because my nails are too long for the standard stamping image size. But I really wish to go back to some Bundle Monster and other plates, those were really great. I still have to buy the XL stamper so ooops ;) I will, I promise ;)

Essie - Lovie Dovie

Hello!!

Today I'm wearing Essie - Lovie Dovie. This is probably the cutest, prettiest pink polish color ever! :) I really like it, it's so girly and great for spring and summer. The color on the pictures may be just a little bit off, but it is really really close :) I hope you like it guys, and I will see you tomorrow with some stamping again.

Hello guys!!

Today I'll show you my cleaned, buffed and moisturized nails. And I'll show it to you with the picture from the first post on this blog, so you can see the difference in nail growth as well as the quality of final look. That was a fail, man ;)

I've learned how to position the hand correctly, how intense the flash should be, and probably the most crucial thing is that I now have Light box (very similar to this) and that just makes everything better :) and the nails are really prettier when longer.

Cat eye makeup

Cats!! ;)

Today I did a cat eye makeup. I did have some problems, because my eyes kept getting watery and a bit irritated. I have no idea why, maybe allergies or something ... Anyway I still managed to make an OK look. 

For the eyes I used:

• Gosh kayal eye pencil in black
• Essence gel eyeliner in black
• no name eyeshadow palette with 50 different colors. I used white, silver, black and a bit of brown. I'll take a picture of the palette next time.
• Maybelline Colossal Volume Express mascara in black

On my lips are:

• Elizabeth Arden lip pencil in pink
• Essence lipstick in shade 07 Natural beauty 

On my face:

First the skin care products:

• Nivea Aqua Effect foam cleanser 
• Nivea Aqua Effect toner
• Nivea Aqua Effect nourishing day care cream

And the makeup:

• Green Line corrector
• Garnier BB cream
• Essence concealer 
• Essence bronzer and highlighter
• Essence blush

Today I'll show you a beautiful water decal nail art. The nail polish color is yesterday's green and it's a bit yellowy again, so imagine a beautiful pastel light green ;) I really like this manicure! I bought the decals on ebay for about 1$ a piece. Hope you like it! ;)

Green Spring

Hello!

Today I painted my nails with a green nail polish for a spring-ish look ;) it's some cheap nail polish for 1€ from Kik store. But it's the only bright green polish I own. The color is much much more pastel green, but the flash make it almost neon, so I'm sorry. Hope you still like it! ;) I used 3 coats for his opacity and Seche Vite top coat.

It look so yellowy, damn! Tomorrow I'll do some water decals and I'll mattify the polish, so there won't be so much glare.

New stuff

Hi! :)

Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, but I was finally out on the sun after a long time! But then I got a bit tired and careful because of my back so I took the day off ;) but I'm back today!

I'll just show you some new makeup stuff I bought:

• Essence Eyebrow designer 02 Brown.
• Essence Blush stick no. 30 Miss Peachy (it looks very orange, but it's actually a really nice peachy pink color).
• Essence Stay all day Concealer no. 10 Natural beige.
• Green Line Corrector in the shade 02 Light.

And the two brushes! I'm so excited about these, because I've been looking for them since forever. I have to say this. In a Mueller store I once asked a professional cosmetologist if she knew where the stippling brushes or this precision eyeliner brushes are, and she just looked at me soooo weird and said that that does not exist. I mean come on!! I'm the amateur here. But I'm used to it ... Slovenia ...
So anyway, I'm very happy about this two brushes!!

As I said one is duo fiber stippling brush and the other is precision eyeliner brush. They are so soft!! I'm really impressed! They are from the BH cosmetics.

I'll try everything tomorrow, I can't wait ;) O, and I bought everything on click2chic.si again ;) probably the only store in Slovenia that has these brushes.

Another stamp

Hello!

I stamped again ;) this time I'll show you two pictures, one with no top coat, just shine from polishes, and the other picture is with matte top coat - Manhattan ProMat top coat. Polish is yesterday's Peachy Keen from China Glaze, image is from Pueen stamping buffet no. 73 and it's stamped with Konad black special polish.

I do like the matte look a lot better, but unfortunately the polish probably isn't that good, because the matte effect isn't as matte as it should be. I'll probably just buy the Essie Matte About You very soon ;)

China Glaze - Peachy Keen

Hello guys!

I didn't do much today, so I at least painted my nails a lovely pastel color ;). It's China Glaze - Peachy Keen and I used 2 coats for this opacity. The color may be just a little bit off, because my camera has difficulties capturing it just right.

Stamping on reality

Hello everyone!

Stamping again! The plate and image was picked randomly, so I hope you'll like it. It turned out pretty great, because it doesn't have an edge on one side, so it really suits my long nails ;) image is from Pueen second generation plate collection - Pueen48 the image with blocks. The polish is China Glaze - Escaping Reality.

I used Konad black special polish, and I think is getting a bit too thick, so I did get some stringy stuff on my nails. But overall the plate is great and the image turned out ok ;)

China Glaze - Escaping Reality

Hi!

Today I painted my nails with China Glaze - Escaping Reality. It's just such an amazing neon pink color, I love it. It's maybe more appropriate for summer, but we've been having such a pleasant, worm weather here that this color is just pops out ;)

I'll do some stamping tomorrow ;)
